Saka has been held back by having players around him hiding on the pitch or not driving forward with him lately. It's certainly not a co-incidence after months on the injury table we look x100 better with Martinelli on the pitch and several young players who want to attack like ESR.
This may not work against teams who'll put a few kicks and shoves in (maybe Chelsea's youngsters being a bit too nice this afternoon) but I'll take it today.

He's very good and very versatile. Klopp loves a CM that can run with the ball, he can play LB and wide in attack too. He ticks a lot of boxes in terms of what we look for and it was no surprise we were linked with him prior to signing his contract.
Staying at Arsenal and playing regularly is best for him though but in a couple of years he could be a serious player and if Arsenal aren't nearer the top of the table then you couldn't blame him for moving to bigger and better things.

The board's goal is for the team to be 'competitive' (whatever that means, probably trying to scrape top 4) when the 22/23 season comes around, apparently.
I think it's a fair assumption to be honest Rob. Maybe for the next year or so you could see him sticking with Arsenal but if he continues to progress while Arsenal are 30+ points off the top of the table, do you honestly see him wanting to hang around?

in 2 or 3 years he will still only be 22 so yes still at arsenal
I'm saying he won't stay with you if you're not competitive in and around the top 4 spots, if he's being wanted by sides near the top of the table.
