Not sure this is a smokescreen. We still look a bit crap and shaky as hell. Rangnick won't be happy with this despite the score. No decent manager would. This is the sort of performance that could easily be 2-1 to Burnley at HT.

Playing a team 3rd from bottom with a load of players missing with a combined value of less than Maguire I would expect Utd to be smashing them, it’s proof of how far Utd have fallen despite the players on show that they are making hard work of this.

It's still very inconsistent in terms of effort and quality. Shaw has improved so fair play and he is putting the effort in but AWB and Bailly is a horrible combo in terms of concentration. Cavani and Ronaldo not really working, Edi has been quiet. I'm pleased McMayo has had a decent half, he gets a lot of stick but he shows the right attitude.

Rangnick wont have an issue then as he isnt a decent manager.

To be fair, there's 12 teams in the league including United that have conceded more goals than Burnley. Doesn't suggest it's easy to stick a lot of goals past them on a frequent basis.

Havent they got a load of games in hand? Burnley are toilet....which is good as hopefully theyll be relegated.
