Honestly if we can't keep a clean sheet against a injury hit Southampton who've had a player sent off....
Offside? What part of his body?
You mean the late tackle from the side?
I looked away but the last view I saw showed Fred's knee as the furthest body part forward?Hair on his kneecap... ridiculous and I'm a United fan.
Happy that it's been balanced out now?So the ref doesn't play the advantage where we could have scored, then doesn't give a pen when it should have been. Even when we win the ref/VAR are making mistakes against us.

The rule needs to change. If the VAR ref needs to start drawing lines than it's not an offside.
They need to draw lines for any offside that is remotely close. The issue is that any offside that has all players involved moving at pace is going to have a reasonably degree of uncertainty. The moment the players foot strikes the ball and where he strikes the ball could make a difference of a few inches in where the players are. I would rather they had some sense when applying these decisions. If you are not 100% and taking 5 minutes to decide, give the attacker the benefit of the doubt.
But they only draw the lines because they're not 100% sure so as you say they should give the attacker the benefit of the doubt.
