Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [3rd - 6th December 2021]

Quite pleased with parts of the performance today the more I think about it. Clean sheet for the first time at home in ages (15 games I think?). We weren't being counter attacked much (if at all) despite being against a team who are very good at it. The stats show we won the ball back higher up the pitch much more frequently than we have in recent history.

Dalot puts AWB to shame in terms of ability on the ball, and he's not exactly brilliant. Telles has done well recently and has a great cross on him.

Concerned about Rashford, he doesn't look the same player he was. Bruno was far, far from his best too.

One training session so far and a busy match schedule means it'll take time to make any real progress, but all things considered, that was a pretty good start.

I've heard a lot of rumblings the Leeds players are sick of Bielsa and his over complicated training and his petulant fits when one of them messes up a drill. You can get away with that when your flying high but he will be another dressing room casualty soon enough.

I dont think it helps when their main forward is injured for two months. I wouldnt read into anything re Bielsa personally.

He's not done much himself but his movement, especially in the first half, created lot of space for others.

As you say it was a pretty good start all things considered. Now he can rest few players in midweek and prepare properly for the next weekend.

Dont know why people are raging. Its a foul.

Because its a garbage rule even if correct.
He placed his hand on the ball a fraction of a second earlier and placing your hand on top of a ball that is on the ground should not count as in control of it.
