I'm pretty sure he has a ******* awful record on them so every single one is basically pointless. You might as well just kick the ball off the back line.

I’ve read that he’s scored over 50 in his career, but it’s dropped off recently. Still got a corker in him, but I’d prefer Bruno on them.

I am well aware of what Ronaldo does well and what he does well, he does very well. Freekicks ain't one of them. He scored 1 from 72 attempts for Juve.

The average in the PL is just over 9% and Ronaldo has a whopping 1.4%.

Common sense says they should probably not let Ronaldo take free kicks.

Indeed! Sorry, I added more to my original post. Definitely prefer someone else on them too.
 
I would love to know what the average time with the ball is and the average distance we are passing it today vs the rest of the season. We are moving the ball much faster with much more movement and less lofted passes.
 
Agree that Bruno should be on free kicks, Ronaldo fine on pens though for me.

Ronaldo is looking very sharp considering he played on Thursday too.

Amazing what a difference moving the ball quickly and closing down the opposition makes eh. Its like the opposition don't have time to settle and pick their passes and its almost like when we move the ball quickly they are finding it harder to defend against. I will admit though, it would take some sort of genius to think of something so complex.

Astounding that people thought Ole was even an average manager when he was so clueless on simple things like this.
 
I wonder how long we’ll last though. The tempo might tire us out by mid second half if we’re not careful. Bodes well over the coming games though as fitness improves / acclimatisation to new ways of playing.

Probably doing less running around than they were when defending all the pressing in previous games lol
 
You can see hints of what Rangnick wants us to do, they just need more work. There are some similarities between this and how Liverpool play, the space they try to create on the wings. We just haven't got the niceties of it down currently.
