I didn't see it but Sky put up title 'Alisson Blunderland' ?
No CB's makes a bigger difference to be fair.no fans makes a huge difference.
Think Richards really likes Foden ha

Dave Jones said it as well, sickening.
With hindsight? We lost the game so yea, not that I think it would have changed much. Before the game it wasn't a straight forward decision and there was arguments for and against. The fact that Davies doesn't even make the bench today would suggest he's just been brought in to make up the numbers but long term I'd imagine you're going to see Kabak playing regularly and at least one of Hendo or Fabinho moving back into midfield but to throw him in today, after a few days training and vs City of all teams was far from ideal.Do you think this would have been the right game to start one or both of the new lads?
I wasn't overly happy with the midfield before the game started but we coped ok until Pep changed things at HT. City moving to a 442 nullified our attack and opened up options for them going forward and as soon as it became obvious things were moving in their favour we should've taken Gini or Thiago off, brought Phillips or Kabak on and moved Henderson forward. With hindsight? Can’t remember who said it but it was brilliant then and even better now, they’d have Jones over Foden

Thiago wasn't having an impact on the game, Gini looked dead on his feet after every run but we chose to take Jones off instead. I thought he was having a good game and, more importantly, he provided the energy in midfield today. I guess Klopp realised we were struggling and tried to play it safe by bringing Milner on but he chose the wrong player to take off and City just ran riot after that.
I really didn't see it that way. It wasn't as if City were dominating the ball and creating anything, we just gift wrapped them two goals in quick succession...and City just ran riot after that.
No you assumed that.
I said two months ago only one would win YPOTY and it was Jones and at the time i was correct. Alisson should have saved that today.
He was our best player today and im absolutely puzzled why he was taken off. Other then his goal im not sure Foden played that well. A third of his passes went to Liverpool
That happened in 2018.De Gea becomes a liability

I think you've got a bit confused with the subs. We took off Jones and Thiago at the same time for Milner and Shaq. I'm not sure you can say that playing Shaqiri in a midfield 3 is playing it safe. I assume the Thiago/Milner switch was to get fresh legs on the pitch with Thiago playing every game of late. I agree that Jones was playing well and certainly didn't need bringing off for fitness reasons/fresh legs so I can only assume it was in the hope that Shaq might create something out of nothing.
As for moving Hendo into midfield, I'm starting to wonder whether we'd be better leaving him at CB and moving Fabinho back into midfield. He's generally done really well at CB but the one area of Fabinho's game that worries me is the silly fouls he's giving away. Part of being a CB is knowing when not to make a challenge and Fabinho keeps falling into the same trap with forwards just waiting for him to get a bit too tight or to stick a leg out for them to go over.
