Who do we bring on to add energy and creativity? The only player who could perhaps be an improvement is Garnacho and he's probably still crocked. We just don't have the squad.....this XI is almost our first choice apart from the back four.

Our away form is miserable, just don't have the consistency. Casemiro, Eriksen, Fernandes, our top class experienced players haven't been performing. Tired? Maybe.

Martinez and Varane are a huge loss....Martinez in particular, he gives the whole team a level of grit and determination we're otherwise lacking. I would make him captain tbh.

We actually have what is almost classed as a holiday for us. 5 days without a game!

Probably right, no end of chances tonight. Great defending by WH, we were really sloppy at times.

Did you watch the game? WE created what chances West Ham had. The defence is solid. Ok so we maybe miss Shaw a bit at left back but the problems are not there. Casemiro looks like he's on Copacabana, Eriksen looks 38 not 32, Bruno looked like he was sulking after being shunted by Weghorst. That's supposedly a top class midfield but it created very little and our forward players insist on shooting on sight. Sure Martinez is a miss but even before we lost him we were often turgid.

My point was not about subs bringing energy or creativity. We saw little of it from the start. We play at an intensity that is easy to deal with for most teams and that is not acceptable. Look at how Arsenal and Newcastle played to day. Look at how Liverpool play at their best. It's not good enough and the manager really needs to act decisively in the next weeks and months.

Edit: I'd be dropping DeGea, Eriksen, Antony, Weghorst and giving some game time to Buckland, Sabitzer, Pellistri and Garnacho. ten Hag is in danger of making the same loyalty mistakes as Ole made. Playing players who aren't playing well and leaving others out. Grrrrrrrrrr.
