Arguably liverpool have been in 'decline' since the 2nd half of last season, we kept getting the wins, but the quality of football had started to drop, only a little but its enough to expose the high line we play. Salah hasnt been on top form since AFCON, the midfield isnt clicking at all. We havent played that badly this season, we just arent helping ourselves with the mistakes.

Anyone calling for Klopp's head need to do one. We will come good i have no doubt, but at this stage top 4 will be a realistic target.

But fair play to Arsenal, they have had a stonking start to the season, and deserved the win today, even if the pen was as soft as hell.

Keeping good possession and stringing a few good balls but for some reason, not crossing much. That may change second half with Ronaldo now on though.

70% possession with an 85% pass rate. If Ronaldo got himself back onside we would be 3-1 up. I think we are playing well. Only worry is Martial as we have Newcastle, Spurs and Chelsea coming up.

We won 16 games out of 19 in the second half of last season.

I think its been pretty good tbh, pinging the ball around well, not just aimless side to side. Pretty good first half.
