I actually think Gordon isn't a bad player and could become a very good one but the attitude he has for somebody that's achieved **** all is quite something.

From what I seen of him I like him.

direct always looking up. Decent with both feet.

He’s played a few amazing balls before his injury but we couldn’t finish a chicken dinner for two months after Christmas lol

His sub looked to be more of running down the clock than anything he done.

Biggest game of the weekend kicks off in 15 mins... I'm hoping for a Wrexham win as the brother of one of the guys who works for me plays up front for them. Sometimes.

It's the same thing we are seeing week in, week out, there is absolutely no consistency in the officiating in the premier league. Even worse we have VAR to eradicate most of that inconsistency and it's just flat out not doing it's job properly, i'd day this weekend just gone is up there with some of the worst we've had since the system was brought in. With that tackle above, he's not even gone above the ball, just flat out missed it by 2-3 seconds.

It cannot be 'ok' just for them to apologise, how has that not been brought back or even reviewed for a card?

Wasn't the same as technically Casemiro got the ball. ;)

It isn't about the debate but there is obviously an agenda with refs in the league towards certain players/teams as the decisions are so inconsistent. You cannot tell me there is no bias. Brighton got absolutely shafted for no apparent reason.

Refs in this league should all be foreign imo.

Rewatching the elbow incident I think the lino is intending to just shrug off this unwanted physical contact from Robertson with an upwards thrust of the forearm but he follows through a bit with elbow. I think it does deflect attention away about from the question as to why Robertson is allowed to put his hands on an official in the first place, it's hardly a Mitrovic scenario but given the way some fans reacted over the Bruno Fernandes incident you'd say this is the same sort of thing.

Would make football more interesting if officials had carte blanche to lamp anyone who got within touching distance when the ball is dead, basically if you invade their personal space then you get what's coming to you.

He made a B line straight to the ref after the whistle had gone.

He has no right to do that.

The sooner officials get this under control the better.

Some clubs are shocking at surrounding the ref.

ManU and Arsenal are some of the worst I’ve seen this season.

It all starts with the culture for me. Why are players allowed to surround or even harass officials. If we actually did something about at the core foundation we wouldn't even have these issues.

Some type of on field punishment, move the ball 10 yards, sin bin for 10 mins etc.

I think the hardest part that surrounds everything at the moment is the fact so many calls are in question because of the coverage we have and some are still so wrong even having VAR implemented. There is no consistency and players/managers are infuriated seeing the same things week in week out. Still that does not give you an excuse to touch/push an official.

Absolutely hilarious some comments on here. Robertson barely touches the official if he does at all and is elbowed in the face. Ive seen worse "hands on officials" all weekend lmao funnily enough without players being assaulted.

B line? Behave. He casually walks up to him.

Roy Keane has become a circus act. He's employed by Sky for this very reason, to spout absolute nonsense about players being babies and general ott criticism about anything they do because it's entertaining and funny, not because it's inciteful.

He’s old school not many players like him and not many get his respect especially if you don’t deserve it. :D

That being said Robertson had no need to approach him, but the linesman had no need to react in that way. An apology should be sufficient but you know, modern football and all that.

The funniest thing for me is if that had happened on the field of play and it was an opposition player that had moved his arm like that, the player would’ve likely gone down like he’d been shot by a sniper. Funny how they react when an advantage is not to be gained.
