Greenlizard0 PL & FA Cup Football Thread ** spoilers ** [18th - 22nd July 2020]

How do you go from being arguably the best keeper in the world to mid table in the league? Must be down to coaching staff or something surely?

Full on attack now.

We've made a lot of changes, outside of our strongest 11 the squad isn't great. Also had a few injury issues in this game and just aren't playing well in general today.

Not sure you can read too much into it overall... Chelsea have had an extra 2 days to prepare which is quite a big thing when games are this regular.

Ultimately though the above aside, it's De Gea who has cost us again.

He wouldn't be the first keeper that's just fell off a cliff. Pepe Reina was the same - he just woke up in 2010 and decided he wasn't going to dive for anything every again and stuck to it for 10 years.

De gea may have cost you the goals but utd have done nothing of note at the other end of the pitch.

Ask Joe Hart

Hart was never in the top top goalkeepers. He is however budget now.

This sort of game is where Ole worries me. It feels like he relies on quality to win games rather than tactics and coaching. When we remove any key players we struggle. When we play against a team that gets in our face and makes it hard, we struggle.
