Greenlizard0 PL & FA Cup SF Football Thread ** spoilers ** [21st - 23rd April 2023]

I dont think ive ever seen as many empty seats as that for a semi final.
how big do you think Man City fan base actually is? What about the city of Manchester its self, not from there so can't say what % is red or blue? According to Man utds website they have a following of 1.1billion.

edit:
Research carried out by Manchester City in 2005 estimates a fanbase of 886,000 in the United Kingdom and a total in excess of 4 million worldwide. Wikipedia

Wasn’t that just the bit opposite the TV cameras?

I know we’ve sold out our allocation tomorrow, which is 37kish I believe, but still expect to see lots of empty corporate seats.

They most probably have another 1 billion like those paid fans in Qatar. Fact is there are bigger clubs in the Championship and even League 1 than City.

It was the same last year, loads of empty seats in the city end, they covered it up with a load of flags and banners.

I was at the Forest game today, nice touch from them with the banner. Same story as all season for us, we have all the ball but struggle to create real openings against teams like this. Awoniyi bullied Ibou all game, TAA's new role is good for him, but the rest of the team have to work hard to cover, Hendo and Robbo worked their socks off today.

Think Forest will have enough to stay up, Leeds are in utter freefall. Leeds, Everton and southampton will go down.
