I feel sorry for Brighton, it's harsh losing on penalties. They're a good team to watch, their ability to play out from the back is exceptional. We looked poor, very sloppy with a lot of unforced errors leading to giving the ball away.

City are on another level, we'll need to find some energy from it being a final to stand a chance.

Antony did a lot today, both defensively and going forward, however his decision making for the final ball needs working on. Both full backs had good games too, AWB especially.

It’s a Final I wasn’t expecting to be in at the beginning of the season. City are favourites though.

Very flat game all in all, Ferguson was a big miss with his energy. Mitoma had some good runs, but ultimately held on to the ball far too long every time.

Just wasn’t our day! We’ll just have to batter them in the league and get 3 points instead!

Brighton made it hard for Utd, they are a very good side under De Zerbi. Utd so frustrating, so many players who are obviously talented but not showing it, Martial has shown it in the early days but he is a shadow of his former self. Sancho touted as a generational talent, he is so infective most of the time.
