Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [14th - 19th February 2025]

Feel like we're sliding into a rut, exactly same form pattern as before the final we lost to United. Why does this keep happening?

Let’s see where we’re at next Sunday before calling it a rut.

Sure, we didn’t turn up today. But Man City just spent £180m in January and we… got rid of Kelly and Almiron.

Think this could be Howe’s last season if we don’t get Europe, no shame in finishing behind city, Liverpool or arsenal, but I don’t think the board will accept finishing behind Forest or Bournemouth.

I didn’t expect a win but expected a better showing than that. Finding a bit of form in the run up to the cup final is crucial, some very tough games in there. Liverpool are more than capable of doing what city did to us in a week or so time. If they do then we might as well not show up at Wembley!

I read something on X today. It sounds ridiculous and personally I think it’s a load of crap, but apparently, due to child protection laws or the like, Nwaneri is not allowed to get changed in the same room as his Senior teammates. Surely we’ve not got that crazy?

'Due to FA safeguarding regulations, players under the age of 18 are not allowed in the senior dressing room. As a result, Nwaneri must get changed separately before joining his team-mates for final preparations before kick-off.'

Can’t confirm but I know they do something similar for the academy women.

If they’re playing at the emirates that changing room is a no go zone I’ve heard.
