Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [14th - 19th February 2025]

I read something on X today. It sounds ridiculous and personally I think it’s a load of crap, but apparently, due to child protection laws or the like, Nwaneri is not allowed to get changed in the same room as his Senior teammates. Surely we’ve not got that crazy?

This one came to light for me during COVID as we had some youth players on loan from premier division clubs who had to get changed separately. Also with the highland league having a good number of mixed officials we had to accommodate separate facilities for the male and female officials. Generally not an issue for larger clubs who have the facilities to accommodate all aspects of the various laws etc but somewhat more difficult at lower level clubs. I remember the away changing facilities were used by the female officials and that the two hospitality bars underneath the top stand were used by the away team in that situation.

I don't think I ever saw Moyes improve a forward ever in my time following Everton, yet somehow he's got Beto scoring. Moyes is so under rated for what he can do for sides like Everton and West ham.
Given where Man Utd are at the moment, he could be their perfect manager!

He's perfect for a team with little to no money and getting the best out of them. I loved him at Everton, although how he destroyed forwards annoyed me at times. Playing a small stirker like Andy Johnson and isolating him. But there was no one better at picking up 1-4m players and flogging them on for many multiples more. The way the PL works, Everton are not winning anything in my lifetime so like most of the other teams you just need someone to stabilise the league position and hope to still be around if they ever try to make this a competitive league. Like Westham, when Everton got above themselves with a bit of cash it all went wrong. The worst football I've seen from this team is when we fired money at it.

No more aspirations than Moyes settling the team in the top 10-12. Some years he will be 14-16 and other years challenging for a tin pot european position.

4 games in 11 days is a bit daft. Why is the Villa game midweek when no one else is playing?

Gravy our best player this season so far for me still, considering how he didn't hit any form of form last year and i genuinely never thought he could be a dm
