Its the most obvious red card you'll see all seasonHow is that a red. He was in the center circle and White was level.

I'm pretty sure he'd have got across. Bit of a stretch to call it a clear goalscoring opportunity I think.oh come on white is no where near getting to him if saliba doesnt bring him down
we can have no complaints about that red
Thats why i thought they'd stick with the yellow, no idea what makes that a clear goalscoring opportunity or a mistake from the ref worthy of overturning the on-field decision.I'm pretty sure he'd have got across. Bit of a stretch to call it a clear goalscoring opportunity I think.
It was definitely not a clear and obvious error which is what I thought the remit for intervention was.Thats why i thought they'd stick with the yellow, no idea what makes that a clear goalscoring opportunity or a mistake from the ref worthy of overturning the on-field decision.
VAR is Gillet who is a Liverpool fan though.....
What else we supposed to do in these circumstances?Another Tony Arteta show.
Im not sure if clear and obvious is the standard for foul by last man. No question he bought the player down intentionally, if the player was onside and Saliba is last man then it has to be red. I don’t think there is any interpretation needed further as the ref does not have the best view to judge last man compared to overhead cameras. It was definitely not a clear and obvious error which is what I thought the remit for intervention was.
I thought even without it there would be enough doubt for a red let alone for VAR to get involved.overhead cam showed white would've covered it.
Yep difficult to argue that Ben White would have caught up when behind and having the cover the extra ground as he was 10+m to the side.If you take saliba out of the picture evanilson has a clear run on goal
