Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [19th - 21st October 2024]

Adam and Rob remind me of 2 little chihuahua's barking at each other . Anyway good result for man utd, anything that keeps ten hag in a job for longer is great for the league and arsenal are struggling atm with a couple of injuries (after a couple of seasons of being able to field their strongest 11 week in week out) and finally being refereed like 95% other clubs. Long may it continue.

Watch us drop points and lose tomorrow so we cant capitalise on arsenal's loss :p

Being a football fan is all about the banter and even though I hate fishing I do love baiting. :D

Line up v Chelsea:
Kelleher, TAA, Konate, VVD, Robertson, Gravenberch, Jones, Szoboszlai, Salah, Jota, Gakpo
Subs: Jaros, Gomez, Endo, Diaz, Nunez, Mac Allister, Tsimikas, Quansah, Morton

Why we not starting Diaz?

Mac Allister I get as had some niggles. My biggest worry v Chelsea is Palmer tbf
My guess would be control. Diaz is class when he's on it, but Gakpo offers more control (and has also been dangerous this season, although less so than Diaz).

Silva doesn't really have an impact there, correct decision

Edit :: although he is backing into him before he actually heads it... didn't really make that clear when the ref went to the screen!

They just need to make that law clear. To my mind, if you are between the posts in the 6 yard box when the ball is played, you should be offside, full stop. Rules out all of the debate.

Edit: but it's right that that goal was given on the basis of the rules as they are
