Is that a new rule? Because Rashford has had 2 disallowed in the last year for the ball bouncing off the defender onto his arm.
Couple of seasons old isn't it?

Someone had one disallowed last week because var decided it was an intentional action whereas it looked more like the dude moving his arm to hold off the opposition player

Just had a look at Chelsea's fixture list, if Poch doesn't pick up 6 points from Burnley and Fulham he'll be gone by the start of December at the latest.

Arsenal, Brentford, Spurs, City, Newcastle, Brighton and United is a wicked run of games for a team well off form.

Should have just done the 6 teams.

I don’t get why people are still, even after all these years, rating Utd like they’re good. They aren’t good. There slow. Even the games they’ve won this year they haven’t been the better side.

Great to see Botman get his first goal. Has been very unlucky in quite a few games.

Would like to see Hall and Livermento in the second half.

That's not how sports science works.... where the game time your body can/should be doing can be calculated and used to prevent re-occuring injuries.
Nah, I'm not buying that if he had played another 20 minutes he would have broken down again, you can't calculate it to that accuracy and with the way nketiah was playing it was a decision that could easily have cost us 2 points.

On a separate note, just start with Nelson on the left and Jesus in the middle then, nketiah is not good enough to lead the line, never has been. Should have been sold off ages ago

I don't think @shipinabottle is saying he definitely would have picked up an injury however medical teams will be advising managers on if, when and how many minutes players should be playing. That's not to say if they play 1 minute more then they'll definitely get injured but it's increasing the likelihood of that player picking up an injury..

Maybe you're right and Jesus staying on would have resulted in an Arsenal win and he wouldn't have picked up a knock but maybe Arsenal don't win and he ends up tweaking a hamstring (it's fairly normal for players returning from knee injuries to pick up muscle injuries on their return as their body tries to protect the knee) and ends up out for 6 weeks. That's the decision Arteta's got to make.

They're not good but Chelsea look far worse atm and that run isn't exactly going to inspire confidence if they get tanked a few times.
