Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [26th - 27th December 2024]

Because we have the tech to get decisions 99% right. Some arbitrary “looks onside” would just mean that teams concede goals where they were a foot, 2 foot offside. That took 2 minutes and he was miles offside. Should that have been a goal because they are **** at their job?

Should we do away with goal line technology or is that OK because you don’t have to wait so long?

VAR is fine, it’s the people sitting upstairs who need sorting out.

Still waiting for this , it's already used in ucl it's super quick

Feel for Amorim. Didn't he want to take over next summer?

Yep, in hindsight you could argue that made more sense. RvN could have seen out this season.

Then again, Rashford would have probably scored 20 goals and we'd have been in this position early next season instead. At least Amorim can see how crap the players are now.

As soon as Fernandes received a yellow so early on, I knew he would get sent off. Absolutely no need to make a challenge not far from the opposition 18 yard box. Dalot didn't help with his absolutely woeful layoff to him that didn't make it, Dalot again has been dire. The whole team have been dire except Ugarte. Hojlund's hold up play has been awful

Poor Ruben, I like the chap, first Utd manager I don't mine but the poor man looks like he has aged 10 years in one month and badly needs a good nights sleep.

Friendly reminder man utd were 4 points off top 4 when amorim took over. If this game stays the same they could be either 11 or 12 off 4th depending on the arsenal result tomorrow :D

To be fair after Everton he said it would get worse before it gets better. We just don't have the players to play this system but you need to cut out the dead wood before you will make progress. The coach needs the backing to get rid of the toxic players and start afresh. Personally I'd be getting rid of a lot more than Rashford..

I dont rate Rashford at all but hes better than this lot you have on the pitch at the moment. Noones telling me Antony and Casemiro are better options right now.

This is a poor excuse. Amorim has had plenty of time to settle in. We look completely devoid of anything. It looks like a total mess.

Our squad should be beating Wolves if Amorim was doing a good job. Same against Bournemouth.

Our next three games are against Newcastle, Liverpool and Arsenal.

That will be 6 defeats in a row by then.......

You are better than Wolves....United cant start afresh, they simply dont have the funds (ffp) to do it so hes going to work with what hes got and has to adapt.

This isnt good enough.
