Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread (and FA Cup) ** spoilers ** [23rd - 27th March 2012]

He has to take the blame for some things. Continually playing Henderson on the right where he's abysmal and adds nothing to the team, constantly dropping Downing and Carroll, who as much as I dislike, need to develop an understanding if we want to make the most of them and his recent interviews proclaiming he doesn't know how we lost to name but three.

Oh dont get me wrong, he has made some substitutions that I havent agreed with , but at the end of the day, these players have beaten the top clubs this year, they definitely have the ability. Playing and dropping players is a tough one, win a match doing it and people say it was the right thing to do, lose a match doing it and people say its the wrong thing to do, its one of those things which people generally only criticise or praise on, after the event. I'm simply not sure where the problem lies and as such I'm not yet prepared to lay it at the feet of the manager

Congrats Wigan, well deserved.

Liverpool needs massive change.

Our goalie, back four, Gerrard/Lucas, Suarez.

Rest needs changed. Well and Steve Clarke for defensive coaching if that is him.

1-2 FT

Time to go Kenny. You're rapidly losing the fans, it looks like you've lost the players and we're getting worse by the game. Thanks for the Carling Cup but please save us from further humiliation.

Congratulations Wigan, simply wanted it more than us today.

Terrible performance to go along with a terrible last couple of months in the league. We may as well use our remaining league games to blood the likes of Sterling in preparation for next season.

On a side note, I think some of my fellow 'supporters' would be better off supporting Newcastle. They can get themselves a seat near the dugout and chant "you don't know what you're doing" and not look out of place.

Anybody see that Arteta bullet?

Just seen the Liverpool score too, how?!?!

Nope rather see another of the so call big four bite the dust:(
Chelsea fans come across a lot less arrogant than Spurs, some Spurs fans felt it was a god given right they should be in the CL after reaching it that one time.
Maybe it is because they have been in it longer I don't care

Might I suggest........

Keisuke Honda?

:D

Jesus, must be about 8 months since we've last seen that one here. (Or atleast me anyways :p)

EDIT: Oh and look, there is one of the complete prats making their entrance.

Thats actually exactly what I would be doing now, theres no real reason left to be overly worried about the pts from league games, so I would now use the remaining games to blood in Sterling, Suso, Coady et al.

Can you honestly see that happening? He used the youngsters more last season when we were playing well. We're playing worse than I can ever remember and it'll just destroy their confidence.

You don't want to end up in 10th though, could ruin any remaining confidence

Im not sure, I would have thought that grown experienced footballers wouldnt lose confidence because they'd see that the matches are being used to give some youngsters some first team premier league experience and that regardless of the results , its achieving that aim. Having said that of course, sportsmen are notoriously low on confidence and get all antsy at the slightest thing.
