Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [10th - 11th January 2015]

Debatable, I think the issue is that Kane on his way down does the kick his leg out sideways thing players do when diving to make it look like a penalty. If the actual touch on his foot was enough to take him down I don't know because he went down excessively dramatically.

Another big issue is that because Mopo hasnt been rotating his squad, all of our subs are miles off the pace.

Capoue, Soldado and Stombouli all needed more match time to be effective against such a motivated team.

Palace screaming for another pen, hit's Walker on the elbow from behind, is that really a deliberate handball?

It was outside the box anyway but imo it was a freekick as it stopped a very good cross.

I don't know what the written rule is about hand balls but I think even some accidental handballs SHOULD be penalised, though not necessarily a deserved of a booking. For example if a defender is on the line and the ball accidently hits his hand then in my mind it should without a doubt be a penalty as they've stopped a clear goal regardless of whether it was intentional or not.

I'm slowly starting to think that if a hand/arm stops a ball getting past a player it should be given as a handball. I used to think that would be a bit harsh but there are so many times when a good cross or shot is stopped by a hand but because it wasn't intentional it's not given.
