Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [10th - 14th January 2014]

Spurs conceded a penalty, Palace blast it high and wide by the looks of it. Puncheon took it, and you know, really shouldn't have.

Alladyce seeming with another defender injured, stretchering off a player and being fairly careful about it.

Chamakh was looking for that penalty all day long IMHO. Justice done.

Admittedly Moussa should have read that properly and seen what he was doing, but it was blindingly obvious what he was doing. Tell tale sign is that Dembele didn't get booked for it either.

Yup, Guy Demel is injured. Caught an elbow to the face from a team-mate. He's been down for ages so he must have been caught pretty badly.

Didn't see what it was for, putting some pizza in the oven at the time, just caught the last replay of the penalty which .... didn't look good :p

Demel it looks like is coming off. Putting him in a neck brace, realy taking their time getting him sorted before going off, can only assume it was a really heavy/bad knock.

EDIT:- from above, do'h, it's how luck goes, most of your defence injured, then they start taking each other out. From commentary it was Johnson as well. Seriously ridiculous, firstly he's a really iffy defender at best, though they are in need there are better choices out there. He comes in and he was ruddy awful against City, like he was absolutely awful, and today he makes the injury problems worse. Worst panic buy of the window so far :p

Here we go... 5Live saying that Cardiff - West Ham was a goal... Guys have just seen the GLT replay... But ref either hasn't been notified or he has ignored it.

Yup, it hit the crossbar and went down, seemed to bounce inside the line then come out. Frankly it came out the keeper jumped towards it and seemed to take it over the line again but because Campbell was there I think that was given as a foul... not sure that was either. The first one really did look a goal, so looks like a screw up with the tech, maybe. Find out later I guess.

Everton should really have done better and almost sealed this already. They look good though, really good.

Really well worked move for West Ham finishing with Carlton Cole(I think his contract is up in like 2 days) finishing it.

Both Sunderland goals have come from freekicks, both needless and stupid.
