Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [10th - 14th March 2018]

I don't see what he offers... poor at the back, makes poor decisions, can't cross for toffee, makes rash challenges, can't take a throw in, passing all over the place.... I suppose he's fairly quick?

Dele off injured as well :/

How is Mike Dean allowed to ref Spurs matches? For that matter, how is he still allowed to ref in the premiership at all?

Lol. The disallowed goal seemed fair tbh. Son obstructing the taking of the fk wasnt though...cant remember the last time a player was punished for that mind you.

Well carragers done with TV then. Spitting in the face of a kid. What a complete ****. Apologies for it being out of character, yeah right.

Bet he isn’t

Just watched the video, looks like the parent filing it on their phone whilst driving deserves 3 points.

It wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't get sacked for this. I boycott sky anyway but I'll doubley boycott them if he's still covering the game tomorrow.

I'm sure you weren't intentionally trying to mislead but he didn't spit in the face of a kid. He spat at her dad that was goading him and she got caught in the cross-fire so to speak.

End result's all that matters. Doesn't make it any less disgraceful. Driver should obviously be fined and whatnot too.

If that had happened while not driving it could have easily escalated, violently.

Spitting at anybody is disgusting but there's a big difference between spitting in a kids face and a kid getting accidentally hit by spit aimed a ****. Anybody that wasn't aware and read danny's post, it would make you think that he's walked up to a kid and spat in their face.

There's a difference as far as intention goes, but the outcome is what matters, as that's ultimately what's happened. "I missed" isn't an excuse.

It could have easily opened the door for escalation. As wrong as the driver is/was, he didn't escalate after the spitting incident. I'm sure there's a number of fathers who would have escalated things.

LOL! Would have been an amazing shot to spit past a girl in the front seat and just get her dad.

You missed my ninja edit. As I said, spitting is disgusting but the way in which danny's worded his post it's as if he went up to a kid and spat in her face. That clearly didn't happen.

Well, if we're being more "to the point". He'd have only ever been facing the daughter.
In reality he pretty much has went over and spat in her face (Given he's obviously driven closer to spit and he's facing the passenger)

Only been facing the daughter? The father is clearly turned and facing him as he's filming - you can see that Carragher's looking in the direction of the person filming, not the daughter that's seemingly sat back in her seat (an assumption based on the fact that you can't see her in the video).

It's obvious to anybody with a braincell that he's spitting at the father but it's hit the daughter. Again, that's not defending him spitting at all but to say he's spat in a kid's face without any context is misleading.
