A few years ago we played slick, counter attack football. Now it really is just dull.

No idea how to create chances. Just pressurise the opposition and hope for a mistake. Poch relies on our game tiring the opposition out so that we have chances late on. 80 mins of really dull football beforehand.

So what do you think was the reasoning for such a lacklustre response, if not a team of players that had resigned themselves to a loss? Rightly or wrongly, whether you feel they should have been, that's how it came across to me.

poor morale. i'd want to see a player grabbing the ball and racing it back to the centre circle to inspire belief they could still get something out of the game

Spurs look compete dross. No pace, no penetration and no clue. Watching this is a painful way to spend a Sunday.

Looks like spurs are trying to prove it is possible to be worse than Sunderland Sunderland are trying but they are just hopeless beyond hoping Defoe gets a clear run.
