Getting nervous about the game now, will be out when it's in so will have to watch it at 4 when I'm back.

Will be hard not to click on the beeb to see the score.

Im not sure the difference in winnings between 4th or 5th/6th is going to make that much difference, if you are meaning the TV money after a season in the likely group of death rhen of course but thats over a season from being paid

The same rules may apply but its unlikley City or Barca or Chelsea would lend a player to Arsenal for example, so the practicalities arent a straight comparison

There's nothing suspect about it :confused:

If Everton do make the CL, should they wish, they'd be able to afford to sign Barry, Deulofeu and Lukaku. They're already financially far more comfortable than before (thanks to the PL tv deal) and they'd be guaranteed somewhere in the region of another £30m from being in the CL. Not to mention if Moyes is still at Utd, they could flog him Hibbert for £20m.

And Barca would have loaned Deulofeu to Arsenal had they wanted him and committed to playing him. Chelsea were very close to loaning Ba to Arsenal too.

Brave line-up from us. It would have been easy to stick Allen (or Lucas) in ahead of Coutinho to counter Toure and Fernandinho but it looks like we're going for it. Hopefully we can be 4-0 after 20 minutes so I can relax :/

I was expecting Lucas or Allen to start too
 
As above thought countinho would have been dropped but hasn't so glad of that, no matter what result were having an amazing season so cmon lads ynwa!
 
Wanted Allen to rape their midfield like we did at etihad although guess no Steve helped that tbh, brave by Brendan, hopefully it pays off.

Been a fun ride, best in years, hopefully it continues

I hope that the welcoming of the team really spurs them on today. The support has been amazing over the past few weeks, the Kop looks full and in fine form at about 1305 which is good :)
 
Very, very brave (read: nuts) of Rodgers to go for what is essentially a 4-2-4? Have to say I expect Allen or Lucas before half time.

BaZ87's formation is probably right, but I can't see Coutinho being especially productive when going back.

It's a system we've played a lot and to be fair to Coutinho he more than pulls his weight in there. Naturally he won't be as good without the ball as Lucas or Allen though.
