Was at the game couldn't see the pen (away fans in the worst bit) but it was all saints first half and villa are so bad the could t penetrate 2nd half whig is just a poor show from them. They deserve to go down as it stands.

They were utter turd first half and 0-0 would have flattered them massively, second half they huffed and puffed but had even less end product than us (considering Rodriguez got 90 mins that's impressive) so should go down with qpr and probably reading or Wigan...

I'll take a draw at Goodison Park, seeing as Everton are one of those teams that know how to turn the screw and beat us, especially considering the run of games we've had recently.
Michu hit the bar, and we didn't get anywhere near the goal really so I won't act disappointed.
Considering we've won at Liverpool, Newcastle, Fulham, Arsenal, Chelsea and drawn against Everton with 2 clean sheets away is a massive improvement over last year
We really need another attacking midfielder, as Hernandez has had more bad games than good and tends to give the ball away too easily.. and he's almost cost us twice in 2 games.

Agreed but the loss of Fonte and possibly Shaw doesn't leave me feeling very confident.
I think we can get something from Everton at home though.

Even if we are destroyed by them its best to get it out the way and regroup for Everton.
Should get at least a point from Everton we are a much better side now (even with Shaw and Fonte injured). Either way Wigan away is the key game for me (last big away day out for a while I think) as they are really down in the relegation zone with us now and we need to beat them to stay up really...
Hoping that Reading/QPR/Southampton go down, but seems that other teams want to spoil that
but Villa are turd! And Wigan have been riding their luck... Even West Ham are quietly entering the relegation fight...
Don't worry, if you ever get the chance to see him play regularly you'll see how good he is. MOTD highlights are about as good as Youtube or Football Manager for forming an opinion on a player.

This is true, Southampton haven't been much better than any of them
.Plus, only an awful dive saved you today that was a dreadful decision from the Ref.

I think hazard has looked good so far. Ok he hasn't been consistent enough, he started the season really well then had a prolonged dip in form, but he's improving again now.
Apparently teams in claret and blue can't defend at all today, both west ham and villa have been comically bad at the back.

2 key points. Plus generally playing a lot better than teams around us is enough for my confidence Also Paul Lambert needs to be investigated by the FA for being a nasty bitter idiot that knows he's going to be sacked.

One of the most blatant dives of the season on repeat viewing, they've got to punish players retrospectively for that sort of thing. Can't believe both Adkins and the saints player said it wasn't a dive lol.
