Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [12th - 18th May 2017]

fantastic

kane scoring the final goal at the lane
unbeaten all season at the lane
2nd place confirmed
beating united

bring in the bulldozers

Shame we've been awful for the majority of the game, left it far too late to start playing properly. At least Rooney will (probably) go down as the final goalscorer here though instead of Kane. :p

I can't tell, but I think that ball was going wide before it deflects of Vert. Rooney was even going to miss from that far out.
and how many others this season have ballooned it over from the same distance

It happens nearly every weekend

Spurs nearly threw it away, if only Bailly had taken his chance in the 1st half instead of passing it

Martial grew into the game as soon as he was pushed out wide, but glad we didn't waste too many 1st teamers for the whole game and the likes of Jones and Smalling need game fitness in the next week so all is good

Hopefully no stadiums to close next season for Utd to have the last game played to make it a hat-trick after WHU last season and Spurs today.

The atmosphere was incredible today. So long, White Hart Lane. <3

Properly fixed ;)

Their form at Wembley will be interesting with their home form this year being so utterly ridiculous. I'm also wondering what will happen with FA cup and things. If Spurs do well in any of the cups will they hold them in Wembley or would they consider moving it because it would effectively be home for Spurs? In the shorter term, the next few years, will Spurs have an advantage in cup finals(presuming they get to any) by playing so many games there?

What you talking about, a CB with a goal and assist in his final(or is the next game home as well?) game infront of the fans, that's epic :p

Apparently he was at fault for the goal we conceded. I can't comment as I'm listening on the radio.

Next game is at home vs Sunderland. He will most likely start.
