Makes a change having a genuine dead ball specialist. It's been too long.

Bailly has been brilliant tonight considering this is his first game for ages.

It was one of the key things to the great treble team. Fergie time 96mins, That extra never say die attitude and Becks dead ball moments. How many times did it happen where one of those three things won us massive games.

Tyler sounds like he's worried robots are going to take over the world.

He remembers a simpler time. When love was between a man and a woman and if you could punch a guy behind the refs back then you were merely an advanced proponent of the dark arts of football.

"we love football because of the goals"

Great argument against VAR for offside. Even better, let's scrap offside entirely and get rid of goalkeepers while we're at it. We'll have loads of goals then and we'll love football more than ever.

VAR for subjective decisions is a waste of time. 99% of the time they don't overrule the onfield decision then out of the blue you get decisions like the Chelsea goal today.

Yep it's pretty much pointless for anything other than offside. The thing is the people making the VAR decisions are not qualified to ref the game so how can they potentially be overulling the ref.

The VAR official is one of the PL refs. Interestingly both Taylor and Kavanagh (the VAR official) are from Manchester.

What happened to all the fuss about using the pitch side monitors? Seemed to last a week or two and then it was completely forgotten about.
