Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [17 - 19th November 2012]

2 years ago playing in a 6000 seater stadium, now you can't get a season ticket for a 27,000 capacity stadium....makes me sad actually:((btw, this was at the start of the season, and they have since added a few thousand more seats). Lowest attendance I have seen was over 25,000

I know Sheff Wed and United don't have waiting lists, which is quite crazy considering the amazing football they both play. :o

Speak for yourself :o

At this rate Wednesday are going to have to pay people to watch them.

I'm so fed up of football mate :(

I can't even bring myself to text you and wind you up this season about being in the league above you :(

Jonney makes me embarrassed to be an Arsenal supporter :(...some of the stuff he comes out with are stupid along with being cringeworthy ie him wishing RVP would break his leg a few weeks ago was the icing on the cake imo. As for me?? ive been to a total of 5 matches in my whole entire life...3 at Emirates and 2 at our old stomping ground Highbury. Sadly with the amount that Arsenal charge for a ticket let alone a season ticket, its near impossible to get hold of one unless i want to pay through the nose..

Personally i couldnt care less if it makes me less of a supporter...there are Arsenal fans around the world who have never been to an Arsenal game let alone watching it on TV.

Plus your best player has now gone :D

Indeed!

I have to say it was a pleasure watching him play, even when he wasn't having a good game he was still very good. It's really easy to understand why Everton have recalled him.

I fully expect to see him get some game time at Everton, he's already far too good to be playing in the Championship, hopefully he goes on to achieve all that he's capable of. Wish him all the best!

How long is the waiting list for a season ticket holder, provided you get your loyalty points?

How much would a season ticket cost where you are?

There isn't actually a waiting list as such, you apply during the summer and if any become available they go to those with the most loyalty points, that way at least they go to people who actually go to games opposed to someone who joined a queue ages ago and just wants one for the kudos.
Matthew Harding Upper tier is £880, lower tier is £750 and I'd take either happily. You get £5 off PL & CL knockout stage tickets as a member so the cost of a ST isn't really that much cheaper, it's just the convenience & knowing who you're sitting next to each week:)

Haha! I noticed though, I didn't get anything last week when we lost to MK Dons! I was shocked.

Oh he will definitely get game time. He was recalled due to Neville getting injured, wasn't he?

Ah! That makes sense. I enjoy the friendships you make with season ticket holders, I'm lucky enough to have good seats and I'm surrounded with some really good characters. Everyone gets along very well.

It's not that more expensive then my season ticket in all honesty. I was expecting it to be much more given Chelsea's status in English football and well, it's a club based in the capital.

I've just had enough, I've stopped all my writing and contributions too. I'm so fed up :(

I've been tempted to text you whenever you've lost (not often tbh) but then just think as a Wednesday fan I'm in no position to mock anyone's form :p

Re; Barkley again, I'm really pleased for him, he's really very good.

Still no answer to two questions with one of them if proven I will not make a post in this sub forum for a week.

Blooming hard to post using a phone lol come on ocuk make a app!

We've only lost one league match this season... We've drawn like 8? though :p We've been incredibly boring to watch this season, but I don't mind - I just want to get out of League 1, it's horrible.

Agent W will get you up this season without too much fuss, you seem to have taken a similar approach to us under Megson, which is 'don't lose' first and 'win' second :p

Still, Sheffield United have looked a cut above the competition, saying that there is still a lot of football to play and anything can happen. Hopefully Wednesday can hold on to life in the Championship and we get the Steel City battle back :)
