Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [17 - 19th November 2012]

I must admit I rarely visit Elland Road nowadays, not because of the clubs current (mis)fortunes but my circumstances have changed, disposable income drastically changes once you own a house, have a kid etc and there is better things to spend my money on than feeding the cash cow that is Ken Bates. Plus it takes up my whole Saturday travelling and to be honest there's nothing much better than watching it at home with a beer, warm room and a 55" TV :D

Over and out.

Apparently this makes you less of a fan. How do you live with yourself?!

Seriously. It's offensive to football fans when people start preaching this rubbish.

I don't agree with much jonney says, in fact I don't pay attention to much of what he comes out with but its not for Tummy to decide who's welcome here and who isn't. The arrogance of what you've come out with Tummy is far worse than anything I've seen Jonney post.

He's not insulting everyone at all & he's just making himself look stupid, let him carry on.

It is insulting, why is it Baz, Yourself, Me, One More Solo, Purdy, Robbo, Andy are lesser fans then the likes of people whom attend every single match?

Where did i actually say if u don't go see your team player your a lesser fan then me? I would like to know where I posted those words. Fact is. Someone questioned my support. That is how this debate started. Also if u can find me a post on the last 5 months saying wenger put it will eat my hat and won't post on this footy threads for a whole week

Speak for yourself, I do attend every match so he's not insulting me.

Literally makes you more of a fan then everyone else :(

Edit, saw you're not a season ticket holder. That must cost an arm and a leg :o

Yeah, you're all poor excuses for football fans ;)

Not really, I don't go in the more expensive West or East Upper stands as the atmosphere isn't as good as slumming it with the lads behind the goal ;)
My golf membership was £1500 per year and when I gave that up I started saving money by going to Chelsea again, it will be cheaper too when I do get enough loyalty points racked up for a ST, if one becomes available :(

Weren't Chelsea season tickets up for grabs last year or something?

They released an extra 3000 or so in 11/12 on a 1st come 1st served basis, I missed out.
They used to have 22k STH now there's about 25k, those figures aren't exact so don't quote me on them.

How long is the waiting list for a season ticket holder, provided you get your loyalty points?

How much would a season ticket cost where you are?

Brighton? :D Really?

I'm pretty sure there isn't one at Wednesdays but that could be wrong, I don't pay much attention to this side of matches.
