But be honest, you're a footballer, your goal in football is to train to be better in matches, and play as well as you can in matches. Wenger is your manager, if Wenger or someone else is your manager next year... how does that change your on pitch performance?
Been hearing that kind of stuff about how it effects performances, but it's just a generic thing commentators/pundits say, there is zero logic behind it.
Yes, they may think about it, maybe a new manager will want to sell them, but maybe Wenger will want to move them on next year anyway, that is a normal part of life for a footballer. The same way a fight with the wife, or a sick kid, or a death in the family effect all footballers. It's a fight every game to put everything else out of your mind and perform your best.
