Anyone who goes to Everton expecting the win usually loses. We did it last season. To be fair we should have had a penalty and their goal easily could have been stopped because of the foul beforehand but was still a very hard game!

Mail reporting Richards is out for 10 weeks and Hart is believed to be out for the "forseeable future".

I hope we line up like so!

He has played their in pre season and looked good. Richards is out, Kolo is gone, Savic is well yeh and its too late for De Rossi to be registered :p

I am thinking now that Zaba will go to LCB and put Milner at RWB as he was very good in the CS.
 
Like it matters City could play no defence and they'll still comfortably beat Southampton.........

GOOD!!!!...about time Vermaelen was given the captains armband...he should have had it last season....i dont think giving RVP the armband was Wengers brightest idea as he soon showed his true colours by 'dissing' our ambitions in the media.

Looking forward to this season in all honesty even without RVP, i want to see if Arsenal suffer goals wise...fingers crossed we still bag plenty.
 
Jones out for a month with a back injury
Smalling out for two months with his broken metatarsal
Evans back in training but not match fit
 
Might eat my words but I don't think Arsenal will struggle for goals.
Their problems will lie more in terms of lacking a top notch DMC, being vulnerable to set pieces and getting exposed by injuries in defence.

Rvp is a pathetic player. ****ging off wenger and the club then joining one of our main rivals. Bet u would act the same if Rooney went to city. Hope rvp gets Injured or wins nothing

No he isn't, he really didn't do anything wrong. He's doesn't have to stay at Arsenal and he chose not to, and he let them know so they could replace him. He's a quality player and like any quality player, wants to win things. It's no different to Fabregas, or even Henry.

I can understand Arsenal fans hoping he wins nothing, or that he struggles, but wishing injury on him is a step too far and makes you look daft, bitter and ridiculous.

Get off your high horse. You would easily feel the same if it was your club. RVP slated wenger and Co in public and showed utter classless being a tool. For all the times wenger and the club stood by this fool through his injuries this is how he treats them? Pathetic. He went through this the wrong and disrespectful way end off.
