I'd assume they'll have some special dispensation to not fast considering the energy exerted in training and games.

Anyone know about this?
 
Said that people would be surprised by Saints this season, hopefully we can keep that up.
Managed to miss the whole second half mind you, debating whether to cook dinner over watching the match. Poor poor choice.

Overall much better than I expected against City.
 
I enjoyed this game, but I found Tyler's constant exultations about the return of the Premier League very tiresome.

Desperately trying to convince people that the Olympics wasn't as good as the football.
 
I think many Muslims offset the fasting, so they'll do it at some other point or show their faith in another way. Pretty sure that's what I heard during the Olympics anyway.
 
Bah, really just a shame that the third goal was put on a plate for Nasri, truly awful defensive header, really the only place not to put the header would be there, out for a corner, throw in, down the field in any direction not to the penalty spot. Dzeko couldn't have knocked that down any more perfectly.

Good game though.

Or maybe, like Gary Neville was, he's just really happy to have it back, like all of us fans. It's his livelihood as well remember.
 
Just got to the hotel. Truly truly awful performance.
One of the worse I have seen in a while.

One positive is that we showed a bit of grit and got the win.
 
Cracking game, while City weren't great it was only some really clinical finishing that got Southampton back in the game, if the saints can finish like that all season they'll be fine but alas I suspect today was a one off

Really don't get the hyperboil on Sky over Hazard, I thought he was only marginally better against much worse opposition than he was last weekend. If it wasn't for truly rubbish defending he'd of done nowt in today's game
