Hope we dont have to resort to playing Pav. He was useless last night, I know he can pop up with a goal now and again but he is usually anonymous. Hopefully Defoe will be back, and maybe we will go go 3-5-2 or possibly 4-3-3 as this is the only way we can accomidate Modric to play centerally with Sandro and Parker who have both been quality.

Most managers do that to be fair, Wenger being a prime example. Thing is with King he apparently tells Redknapp the night before or the day of the game if he can play.

Its usually every other week. See what happens, you take a defender, move him OUT of the midfield into a defensive role and win? How strange..
Also fergie seems to find that in in what was meant to be quite a tough away fixture that dropping De GEA was a good idea...Every time ive seen Lindegaard he looks really solid, not flashy just a sound goalkeeper...Every time is see De Gea i think exactly the opposite. its wierd.
Jones played in Midfield vs Wolves and we won.
Lindegaard has played four times for us in the league I think, and only 8 times in his time here - De Gea has played more than double that already. He's a solid keeper and certainly number 1 choice.

Right, because Wolves are the toughest team to face. We could have beaten wolves with bloody john oshea in midfield, does that make oshea a competent midfielder who is going to help bring us closer to the glory of beating barca in the european cup?
if your ambition is to beat wolves, fine. If its to be the best club in europe/the world then its clearly not fine.
If you check skysports stats, Lindegaard has a 7.0 average and De Gea 6.5 average..just saying..

You stated that we take a defender out of midfield and we win, all I did was point out that vs Wolves that we played a defender in midfield and won. I'm sure I can find other cases.
De Gea has played 14 League Appearances, Linde has played 4.. It doesn't take a genius to work out the averages will differ does it?
Someone can play 4 games, get a rating of 8.0 and not playing again and hold that average. Whereas someone who plays more games and has a shocker the average can go down, it's not hard to think about is it?
Is the Sky Sports rating system based on fans views? If so, it's stupid anyway - the amount of slating DDG got at the start of the season for the first 7 or so games was madness anyway. He is settling down well.

Exactly - hook line and keeper. Jones not being in our midfield is better than him being in our midfield. Im glad you used your own initiative to work this out.
The sky sports stat is merely one metric- but tell me this, how many times has lindegaard flapped at the ball or attacked a cross with his legs? He has looked re assuringly sound in every game. the stat was supportive of this - not a defacto standalone point or attacked
but surely if you've watched us play you'll already know how dodge de gea can look and how decent lindegaard looks.

Slating was madness? Our champions league exit was madness and de gea didn't cover himself in glory right there.
Jones has been one of our most consistent, stand out players in both defence and midfield. You are a moron.

I've covered this point before. he just looks decent at cm because he runs about a bit. Use talented midfielders with passing and ball control and we are a better team.
Jones is a good player. Good enough to be our 3rd choice centerback sure. good enough to be first choice midfield? Lol from sniejder to Jones eh? How some people have lowered their expectation of the quality we expect to see in the middle of the park.
