Arsenal have a lot of improving to do, Chelsea doing their implosion thing, Liverpool labouring, Spurs are just Spurs. I think if you put a bet on the Premier League trophy ending up in Manchester then you could do a lot worse.
He was given offside but it was incredibly tight.
A very unlike Liverpool performance earlier today. Without Lallana and Coutinho we lacked a bit of creativity in midfield and it's games like this when Wijnaldum annoys me - it's all good and well being solid and controlling the game but with Henderson and Milner already there, he needs to step up and take on the responsibility of being the creative force. That aside I thought we generally played quite well - we controlled the game, restricted Palace to very few opportunities to even get forward, let alone create chances and one piece of poor defending from Klavan aside, whenever we had to defend we looked very solid. Matip handled Benteke better than any Liverpool defender has in 4-5 years, Gomez reminded me of why I was so impressed with him 2 years ago and then Robertson has a great debut. He didn't have much defending to do so I'll reserve judgement on the defensive side of his game but in possession he looked so comfortable with the ball at his feet and linked up really well with our attacks down the left, whipped in some really good crosses and played so very clever, intricate passes. I can't remember a time when I used the word clever when describing a Liverpool left back - without adding 'not very' before.
But so many chances, so much possession. Should be scoring and winning this game.

Offside. Although to be fair, from where I was sitting it was borderline. Not that I'm complaining though. Great 3 points for us.

It's Wenger. His insistance on playing pretty football comes at the expense of defensive solidity.
Might be a bit early, but going by what I saw in this game, be lucky if we make it in the top 4. Unless other big teams have a bad year, then it is not looking good.
We need to try and keep Sanchez and bring in Drexler. I felt Iwobi and Walcott had no impact on the game
Those two should be given the Europa League games.

Defensively we are such a mess, doesn't help that Kos isn't playing but still should have had Holding in there rather than Monreal.
Not sure what Wenger is trying to do with the team anymore.
I do not understand why we have Monreal in the centre of the defence.
Another thing I did not get is, why wait so long to bring on Iwobi and Walcott. They should have been on 5-10 minutes earlier. Not that they made much of an impact, but still, fresh legs and all that.
