They're seemingly happy for him to join another a club and carry on as he is - he just can't stay at Liverpool.

I'd just want him out of my club tbh if I was the owners but they have to play it carefully to make out they aren't interested in selling to keep the price up. They just need to sit back and let him engineer his own move with an agent.

I'd be happy to let him become a problem to some one else. I'm sure he's finished at the club but he cannot go cheapily.

its everything about him thats rubs people up the wrong way

he bit him him then feigned injury..it was truly pathetic to watch..almost stephen Tayloresque in his efforts to con the referee

A man that ate a hamster and a hamster that ate a man!

Brilliant:D

Although DM is full of **** if he did decide to leave I'd be pretty annoyed, he owes a tonne to the club and the fans

Now you can understand why a lot of Arsenal fans feel the way they do about RVP leaving us...after everything we did for him...kept paying his wages even though he couldnt give us a full season then when he finally decided to get fit and stay fit, he decided to jump ship.

But very few players will show any sort of loyalty to a club.

You're a bit wrong there anyway. Arguably the reason that RVP was always injured is because he had to break himself to try to carry the team if they were ever going to win anything. He doesn't have that pressure at United because they have loads of strikers and can afford to rest him or at least take him off before the full 90 minutes.

There have also been eyebrows raised about the Arsenal medical staff/policy over the years when you look at the players at Arsenal that seem to get injured and stay injured, or are rushed back too early and end up straight back on the medical table.

Also where does it state anywhere that injured players don't deserve to be paid their wages as per their contract? I don't understand why you'd feel hard done to because of that. Most clubs have a few injury prone players, but I don't recall seeing supporters of other clubs moaning about having to pay wages to those who have picked up injuries...

I think he had given Arsenal more than enough of his career (staying until 29 at a club with no ambition is too much if anything), it would have been a real shame for a player of his quality to end up with no medals.

You do realise that last season was the season we were most reliant on him and he didn't get injured? He got injured a number of times playing for Holland as well.

You've definitely spent too long in GD during your absence

I'd be more aggrieved with the fact he went to another English club and the Arsenal aren't competition is a bit harsh as you add a few things to how **** hot RvP is and there is a great chance you'll challenge, probably just not in europe.

Suarez has really embarrassed the club, fans and himself whilst the club initially defended him in the most retarded way possible they stood by him up to handshake gate, where he should have made sure if he felt evra wasn't arsed on it he showed himself he was.
Fans stood by him the entire time, not much happened between then and the end of the season bar liverpool being horrendously crap.

Come to this season, he is getting raped by defenders kicked, dragged down, tackled. People starting to be convinced he is cleaning himself up a bit and getting shafted by refs, at the peak of this he does the single most retarded dive of the season vs Stoke. Brilliant, back to square one. Fans still support him after again being embarrassed.

Then comes the bite, I mean jesus ****ing christ, the FA might have given you a ridiculous ban but you gave them the opportunity with something no one will forget and doesn't have 'maybe guiltys' about it.

****ing idiot, owes us big time

And you don't think that a huge huge part of him leaving was the fact that Arsenal had dismantled a great squad around him over the last few years. You have to look at your own teams issues when you lose 4-5 of your best players over the course of a few season.

If he felt that you were going to compete for titles then he probably would have stayed. Rooney questioned our ambition with the players we were buying a few years ago and was threatening to leave if he didn't feel that the quality was there to win trophie. RvP is 29 as well so he can't wait forever.

Indeed, and a player like RVP deserves to win a title. Best decision he ever made :D

Also, Suarez got the least he deserves. He is a dirty cheating, nasty little player who I would be happy never to see play football again. He has shown time and again that he doesn't know when to stop. Twice he has blatantly cheated by handling the ball to score / stop a goal and he has been diving, punching, biting and cheating on top of that.

I understand that he is the only thing keeping Liverpool from middle table mediocrity but I doubt he will help that much if he is suspended half the time. Sell him and bring in a replacement.

You could see how much it meant to him when we won it. I'm sure some of that was the hattrick but he was grinning from ear to ear the whole time.

We are midtable.

Also what was the occasion he purposely hand balled and scored? I mean the Ghana one I'd expect anyone to do, in fact wee paul scholes wasn't shy of a handball trying to score or stop a goal and I guess he 'just can't tackle'.

LOL no **** sherlock:p...im not blaming RVP for leaving...as much as i hated him leaving us for Utd of all teams...he made the right choice in doing so.

Ive been saying for a few yrs now that Arsenals demise is due to Wenger and the board at Arsenal for selling our best players and replacing them with utter turd. I dont blame RVP for leaving, if i was in his position and i wanted to win trophies, i wouldnt be staying at Arsenal thats for sure.

And because of our demise, i cant see us signing the likes of Cavani, Falcao, Gotze or any other world class player because one, we havent got a strong squad and secondly we wont pay them £150k a week plus...which teams like Chelsea, City and Utd will easily pay and thats why they will always compete for trophies and win them.

RVP "owed" us nothing, both because several of his injury problems were Arsenal medical staff/Wenger's fault anyway, and because he wasn't injured even 1/4 the amount a Rosicky/Diaby is, and was actually fantastic when he did play.

Also certain Arsenal fans seem to forget he already had plenty of opportunities to leave in the previous 3-4 seasons and chose at those times to stay because he felt like he owed Arsenal, he finally left because of all the completely empty promises from Wenger. There are numerous players now who have wanted to leave and Wenger has had meetings with, promising signings and a real challenge, promising change and improvement, only for it not to happen and those players to leave once the promises turned out to be bullcrap.

its Wenger who let RVP, Fabregas, Henry, and plenty of others down, not the other way around, if you want to blame anyone at all for RVP leaving, its Wenger.

RVP is more than good enough to be in a title winning team in any league in the world, and Arsenal aren't even close to competing for a league. 11/12/19 points off the title in the past 3 seasons, and at this point in time we are 21 points off the top..... Utd have roughly 33% more points than us, we're no where near, and there is one man to blame.

RVP is a man, being paid to do a job, he got injured as part of his job at Arsenal, that is part of football. Even in his seasons where he played the least, he offered significantly more when he played than other players did through the entire season while fit. The only players who "owe" us are Walcott, Diaby, Rosicky, the guys who sign new contracts for the money, put in more effort before a new contract is to be signed, who barely show up the rest of the time and manage to get injured for huge long periods before magically being fit around contract renewal time. The thing they owe us.... is to god gamned well leave, but they won't.

No complaints really from me.

Another PR disaster though as we say we can't believe the punishment....seriously why come out with that.....

This, 10 is possibly a bit much, but I wouldn't complain, and if the FA say they've taken into consideration his past actions then 10 is logical, depends how they have done it.

As you say, why Liverpool released that statement is beyond me, their PR department is just relentlessly thick, take it on the chin and accept it. Responsibility needs to be taken.

You are 15 points clean of the people fighting mid-table. Generally speaking yes, you are roughly mid-table but you have way more points than the teams 10th ish.

The handball where he scored was against Crawley Town was it?

Also the Ghana one was just taking the pee. Would you think it ok to just stick your whole team on the line and have any of them take a red for the team if you were in the final of the Champions league and one nil up in the 90th minute?
