Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [19th - 22nd November 2011]

Not that it really affects your point, but Cameroon didn't make the ACoN, so Song's not going anywhere. :)

OK, schoolboy error on my part assuming they would qualify :(
I bet he gets suspended at some point though, although I don't think AOC is a like for like replacement I do wonder if some games at home to weaker sides we might go play without a dedicated holding midfielder (e.g. Wilshere when fit)

Watching the game today reminded me that Benayoun is probably above AOC in the pecking order at the moment too.

norwich really are a sub par team for the prem

What do you expect? They've come up, spent hardly any cash. They've done very well under the circumstances and the 'big' teams like Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have all struggled against them.

Nice first half, first 25-30 mins i could see a goal coming and even said it, Newcastles defence was defending for their lives.

Two top finishes from the "twins" :p

Goals Galore today, only the Sunderland game without one. MotD should be one to watch tonight

We played well first half, nothing to be ashamed of. Keep plugging away lads.

Just a pity Taylor is doing a one man implosion act this game :D

1538: Incredible story from Germany where the Bundesliga match between Cologne and Mainz was called off 40 minutes before kick-off after the referee tried to take his own life. Babak Rafati was found in his hotel room less than two hours before the scheduled start time. The 41-year-old is in hospital and his condition is unknown.
