When you consider that was our 'massive' down turn in form and we could still end up with 90+ points it'll just highlight how special that City squad if they pip us to the title. Gutting but the players have shown they've got the fight in them which is a big plus for next season.

If we were to pick up max points in our remaining games it would be either the 2nd or 3rd highest points total (depending on City this season) ever in the top flight. We're having a ridiculously good season and had it not been for City we'd have walked the league.
I expected us to be City's nearest challengers this season and had it not been for the CL run last season we'd have quite possibly finished 2nd then too but I really didn't think we'd push them as close as we have and definitely didn't think we'd be picking up 90+ points. We've got a very young squad with most if not all of our key players recently signed or signed up to new contracts - if we can improve the depth of our attacking options in the summer then we're going to be an even stronger side next season.
