I'm going to have to listen to this later, it sounds like they've got a load of retards phoning in.

Shocking season overall but a good end, obviously Wenger wouldn't accept finishing 5th. Then again it'd have to be worse than shocking to finish lower than Tottenham even when they have a good season.

Well done to Arsenal, will have to try and find that old Spurs choking gif.

We played quite well today, we deserved a draw on the balance of play but all in all I'm just glad the season is over and then we can look forward to another season of **** and mediocrity all over again next year :p:D

The Prem has been one of the worst seasons as far as I can remember, obviously Man U fans won't care but for the neutral there were no last day surprises/shocks as things were sown up pretty much before the day, there were no memorable matches, I actually considered cancelling Sky because the matches have been so poor.
The Prem has become too much about tactical decisions so a a team doesn't lose rather than going for the win, the standard has dropped considerably. It's perfect for Mourinho right now.

Also sad about the retirements, I'm not sure who in the current PL will be missed when they come to retire in the coming years, too many foreigners.

Let's hope next season is better.

Long live the Championship :p

Agree the prem this year sucked. Didn't enjoy it at all this year, Enjoyed Serie A though :D

Just back from WHL.

Big news, Bale scooped both club player of the year and young club player of the year awards. I'm shocked.

My worry at the start of the year was that AVB would get off to a bad start and get sacked. I'm a big fan of his so I'm glad he's proven to the doubters that he's a good manager.

One win better off than the often said to be tactically clueless, moron that is Redknapp, despite Bale being better.

This year Spurs got 21 wins, 9 draws, 8 losses, scored 66, conceded 46, points 72.

Last year, 20 wins, 9 draws, 9 losses, 66 goals scored, 41 conceded, points 69. They finished 5th this year, 4th last year. 3 points better but one position worse in an overall lower quality league where aside from City, who went backwards, Utd who stayed exactly where they were, 3-8th all improved in points. Utd only stayed where they were because they won the title effectively months ago, officially quite a while ago, and have been phoning it in for quite some time, including the last game of the season.

AVB matched, at best, Redknapp..... wooo, he's proved he's as pointless as Redknapp, after a season where he was pretty poor at Chelsea, to redeem himself he needed to do something beyond matching Redknapp.

Arsenal, lol, woo, we got into the QUALIFICATION for a competition we have no chance of winning, it will probably bring in 25-30mil, and we only spent £50-60mil more than Spurs to do it.... value for money or what, I'm so freaking happy that Wenger will stay for another year, buy the wrong players, waste more money, and once again aim for 4th while spending stupid money to get into 4th ahead of other teams.

£150mil wage squad JUST beating Spurs to 4th while spending pretty much 60% higher wages than Spurs.... what an epic achievement.

Still in tears over Brentford?

just the standard of the league has been dire. We've not been "appalling" to quote whoever it was but we have not been good for, well, the majority of the season and yet we still won the league incredibly comfortably. If Maureen goes to Chelski and City get someone with an ounce of tactical nous then next year should be a lot more competitive...
