Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [2 - 3rd November 2013]

Too much space because Henderson was standing there watching. Once Gerrard and Lucas got sucked across Henderson had to come inside and he didn't.

Glad someone else saw this, Gerrard was over at LB helping out, Lucas inbetween, Hendo doing nothing and Skrtel+Sakho hesitated.

Flanno completely at fault for the first goal, Gerrard might've done something if he sprinted in the box but then again he shouldn't have to if Flanno does his job.

His time's up. Spent most of the game jogging around the pitch and playing short passes which is something a number of other players could've done in their sleep. He can't play game after game after game like he has been and he's now seriously effecting the balance in midfield. Sorry BaZ, we don't need players to compliment Gerrard we need players that compliment the whole team.

I agree he can't or shouldn't play week in week out. As I said previously, we need to sign a powerful DM/CM that he and others will compete to play with. If fact we should be looking to sign 2 top class CM's because all our current options are lacking something.

edit: and I hope we have the option to send Moses back in January. He's a lazy ****er.

most consistant champions league performing team of the last decade in the prem

yes i guess we cant do **** all

spose you still think liverpool are a massive club

to be honest liverpool should never of been in the champions league when they cant even win a domestic title, the champions league always used to be exactly that for the champions of the domestic leagues.
It should be just for the Champions or the top 2 but UEFA are greedy. It shouldn't even be called Champions League, there's one champion in a year, not 4.

Come on now BaZ, he should be able to do Saturday-Saturday-Saturday. It's not as if you have any midweek distractions this season ;)

Exactly. The decision to start Flanagan and the sub at HT both led to their goals.

Away to Arsenal last season was Rodgers most brain dead game too.

Arsenal were deserved winners today no complaints about that, but the score line could have been a lot higher had Giroud and Ozil had there shooting boots on ><

Liverpool's midfield were knackered today, Gerald really should be replaced I'm sure 130k+ could be spent better elsewhere, he must be earning more then any of Arsenals midfield players bar Ozil.

With the way the table is now shaping should Everton win tomorrow that pushes them up to second I mean WTF, so many teams up there with little points between them :)

Jan transfer window is vital for Arsenal (If they are to win the league) and liverpool (if they really want the 4th CL spot) but feel Liverpool will fall short.

Must admit some of the trolling from Arsenal fans is this thread makes me a bit sad. We're top of the league but we've only played two teams of any note, both at home. There is a hell of a long way to go, this could all fall apart in February like things normally do... I think some Arsenal fans have short memories!

+1

Keep perspective or it will bite you in the bottom!

You don't though

I dont what exactly??, i watch majority of Arsenal games...sometimes its not possible because unlike you, i have a life and a wife outside of football:p.

Anyhow will be watching the MOTD highlights around my mates place later but from what i was reading on BBC sport, looks like we tore Liverpool a new one. 2 brilliant goals from Cazorla and Rambo, who just cant stop scoring at the moment.

Looking forward to the highlights later tonight and 5 pt gap now at the top of the league...still early days but this should give a huge boost for Wed against Dortmund, still expect us to lose that one but come Utd next weekend...i reckon we will beat them properly.

Happy days as an Arsenal fan, crappy day for Liverpool fans:D

That was Football in formula 1 speed. It's wonderful to be a gunner. Thanks all.

Sure seemed like it judging by the commentary i was reading.
