Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [20th - 24th October 2017]

When refs don't punish bad tackles they can't expect players to be relaxed about it.

Ref looks like he is trying to regain control of a match that was largely fine. Tell Martial and the Hudderfield player to cut it out and leave it at that.

We have been rubbish. Can't say that was unlikely to happen. We are so pedestrian in the middle of the pitch at the moment. Lukaku is playing behind the midfielders to get the ball.

So it turns out Lindelof wasn't a bargain after all and there was a reason why he was a lot cheaper than all the top CB's being touted about this summer.

"Huddersfields game plan has worked perfectly".

Oh yeah I bet thats how every team plans their game.

"Right lads, we're going to have very little of the ball but we are going to wait for them to gift us two embarrassingly simple goals from mistakes that no professional footballer should make"

It's not looking good for him, confidence has been in tatters since he joined. I'm sure he's a better player than he looks at the moment, but it's probably too late for him to recover.

I mean that's pretty much everyone's strategy against Liverpool and it works

Isn't that the same tactic Mourinho uses against any half decent team? AKA parking the bus.

That's pretty funny, because that is largely Mourinho's tactic in the big games, sit back, don't care about the ball but hope to catch them on the break and often in a lucky way seeing as a lot of his teams rely on a sole striker to provide magic on his own in the very biggest games.
