Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [20th - 24th October 2017]

We were all over them for 90% of the game and gifted them two goals. I assume you didn't watch the game at all and are just talking crap because you don't like Mourinho/United.
What's your definition of all over them? You had more of the ball but for the first 75 minutes of the game I can't remember a half decent chance you created. Huddersfield were very comfortable until you pulled one back and even then, they were hardly on the ropes in the last 15 minutes.

Utd were pretty pedestrian, loads of possession doesn't mean you were all over them.

I think something has gone wrong behind the scenes. All was fine, then we have reports from the Jose camp that he doesn't like Woodward, is unhappy about not being offered a new contract, and talk of him going to PSG. He's also been moaning about decisions surrounding injured players like Pogba in recent days too.

Worrying times really.

Standard Mourinho. There's always problems behind the scenes or with players or the media because Mourinho's never made a mistake in his career. If the results haven't gone his way it's because the board didn't buy him the players he wanted or his players let him down or there's a media agenda against him so officials aren't giving him any decisions. And whenever this happens Mourinho's pet dog will write an article claiming that the chairmen was too busy enjoying himself rather than negotiating deals or a certain player got injured because he was doing private training sessions (not because he played every minute of every game of course) and Mourinho will start being linked with other clubs. How many times was Mourinho linked with a move back to the PL when things were getting awkward at Real?

Mourinho will never change and while I'm sure this isn't a massive issue right now and he'll probably end up getting a new deal, this is why he'll never stay at a club for 5+ years. Every time there's a bad result/performance or he's getting criticised Castles will throw somebody under the bus for Mourinho and eventually things come to a head.

I better start being more careful what I write about Castles, he's threatening to sue people on Twitter. Tbf, he took a hell of a beating yesterday - it's not often when you see journalists mock other journalists.

Castles is a strange one isn’t he, he used to be the opposite not long ago.

The worrying thing is he hasn’t really achieved anything yet, year 2 is normally the good year for Jose. The excuse being used is that we didn’t get all of his transfer targets, Woodward wouldn’t pay the extra for Perisic. As soon as results have gone sour that seems to be mentioned a lot.

I know the injuries aren’t helping but there was an alarming lack of effort from the players yesterday.

He is lol. It’s hilarious how much he cries when Manyoo so badly or Citeh/Chelsea do well, for example. Is there a worse journalist around?! Zero impartiality :o.

It's not Utd, it's whichever club Mourinho is managing. He has some sort of link to Jorge Mendes and as a result Mourinho too and he's basically their ***** - he'll get fed some legit news by them every now and then (how else does a Scottish journo get so much transfer news from Portugal) and in turn he'll be their propaganda machine. He's not very subtle about it though and like I said above, even other journalists rip him apart.

Can someone link him being torn apart? Thank god I don't at Daniel Taylor's face appearing much these days, that guy was also a tool
