Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [21st - 23rd October 2016]

Don't even go there, LvG was awful. Things aren't good now but there's a more than decent chance they'll be better long term.

Long term? He won't be there 18 months and will be England manager on 55 million a year. I have always liked him but he just doesn't fit United. I don't think they will tolerate him for long.

Pogba will be a cheaper buy for Madrid in 18 months too :D:p

What about Mourinho tells you he is going to do a job long term? He is good at what he does, but what he does isn't even close to long term projects.

He was partly at fault for the first goal. Yes, Blind and Smalling make the initial mistake but he's gambled on getting their before Pedro and failed badly.

The last few weeks results have made Wednesday's game a lot more interesting. Had results gone differently then the result would have been less important and both managers would have rested players, partly to save face if they lose. Now the pressure is on both to get a result.

I'm 50/50 on the first goal mate, I get what you mean but he had a choice to make and was just out-done by Pedro's speed. I reckon Pedro would have probably scored if DDG stayed in his area anyway.
