Why don't we criticise man marking when a side that's man marking concede a goal?
Whether man marking or zonal marking, if defenders do their job, the opposition shouldn't (or at least not easily) score.

Annoying first half. Played quite well except for
1) Gervinho's epic fail first touch
2) Poor defending for the goal

Of course, his tactics worked just fine in Championship Manager.
