Well AVB needs to earn his cash during this team talk. He either needs to identify how to win this match help the players implement them or he needs to make changes to the team or formation.

If this continues I dont imagine he will be at the club much longer.

He's putting together the first draft now at half time, he begins on a classic type writer.

We've played really well so far, annoying to be 1-0 down to a set piece, maybe if Vermaelen was in he would have organised a bit better. Podolski should have picked Lescott up but meh. If we keep playing the way we have been then we'll break through at some point, Ox on for Gervinho soon please. :p
 
OoOo Some very nasty tackels going on towards the end of that Newcastle game.

Poor performance but 3 points none the less
 
QPR are pressing us fast and hard- if QPR are working hard, our players need to work as least as hard to make themselves available for a pass.

All the Spurs players look so isolated in possession and then they get swamped by red.

:D I'm sure the players know the fans are disappointed with the team being 1 down. I doubt they're over the moon with the score line themselves. Not even 5 league games into the season, classy as usual.

Not watching the Spurs match but what does AVB need to change? People are saying the formation but how?

Surely if it is that obvious to people posting here, AVB should adapt it and change tactics?

bale is at lb, dembele is lw. dempsey and sig are clashing.

need vert at lb, naughton cb, sub sig, go 4-4-2 with dempsey upfront, bale on wing

Bale cant play LB and Dempse/Siggy were nowhere to be seen; good for AVB, he has taken off one of them and put on Caulker, put Vertonghen at LB and Bale up front.

Ditto- he would have been yelling at everyone and putting in the passion


We look like a team who has lost their metronome (Modric) and belief/passion (VdD). We need some leaders confidene and we need some fluency

I'm pretty sure booing a team that's played badly is EPL wide and not exclusively a Spurs thing.

Agree.

Not particularly the performance I was after but 3 points are always good, still a lot more to come this season from us (I hope :p)
