You were still level on points with City before that game - so its not exactly that bad an analysis

Your draw took the pressure right off City with two games to go
 
I am officially forgetting about Chelsea and pretending second is top spot in the league. That way it's a bloody good league this year.

Totally disagree with you re Gerrard Baz (then again we had this last season though :p), as the defensive MF (and Captain) it is his responsibility to organise the team, its his responsibly to cover when his fullbacks bomb on, his responsibility to cover his CB if he is going forward. Gerrard does none of that (if you want to look at a how its done, then look at Lucas when he plays in exactly the same position). At the moment others are having to cover for Gerrard's lack of positioning (take Chelsea's 2nd goal in the game against us the other week, Johnson is under order to cover for Gerrard so there's a huge gaping hole where he should be that results in them scoring).

You say Stevie is our playmaker, but last 2nd half last season was more to do with Suarez and Sturridge being unstoppable and Sterling/Coutinho/Henderson breaking at pace from midfield to support and less to with Steven gerrard and his meandering 50 yard cross field hollywood balls that even a blind man in a wheel chair can defend against.

As for this year, he offers absolutely nothing going forward.
 
Liverpool had an above than expected result last season and that was down to just one man. I can't see why any Liverpool supporters can expect anything else nearly as good without bringing in someone of equal class.

Needs to not be mentioning that shirt pull regardless, yes it was a foul by Gayle but we were down 2-1 anyway and didn't look like we had a hope of scoring, also a draw away to that lot is pathetic, they are garbage.

So Sturridge and Sterling offered nothing? Gerrard top assister in the league also.
