Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [21st - 26th October 2011]

No the problem is we cant put the ball in the back of the net. Time and time again we dominate and cant hit the target.

Yes thats a big part of problem but Bringing Bellamy off was a mistake leaving it so late for Downing to come off a mistake..He never subs early enough or right order =/

So Norwich get a point from our utter utter wastefull ness! :(

We wasted far too many chances, That being said Bellamy coming off killed the enitre attack from left hand side, We missed Lucas,Downing was tripe fro mthe get go yet brought of so late made no difference. Carroll should have finished his chance but then we should have finished least 3 of our chances.

2pts Dropped gutted. KD Needs to do subs better and earlier, Henderson is allot better in the middle not the right.

I suspect there's a lot of sides that won't miss as many chances all season as we have in our opening 9 games. The balance of the side was wrong from the start, Downing looks lost on the right and the Gerrard-Adam pairing in the middle was a mess; neither got forward as they do naturally and neither offered any cover defensively. But despite that we should have won the game inside the first 20 minutes; if Suarez could finish he'd be unstoppable, I lost count of the amount of attempts he had today.

OptaJoe on Twitter: "11 - Luis Suárez's total of 11 shots (inc. blocked) v Norwich is the most by a player in a single PL game this season. Futile."

ALl because I had him as my FF captain, useless :(

Everybody was saying that Grant Holt would struggle in the Prem(I'll admit I said this too) and he has scored at Stamford Bridge and at Anfield, not bad, not bad at all.

Fantastic result for us, going to Anfield is always going to be one of those difficult games that you expect to lose. I laughed a lot when I heard King Kenny saying that we would be as much of a threat as United were, and we seemed to prove it.

Forget King Kenny, Lord Lambert has led our weak team to great heights, just a shame he will get poached by one of the bigger clubs soon...

Liverpool could have been 5-0 up by half time but credit to Norwich for hanging in there and making a good game of it after they equalised.

I also want to give praise to the referee, it was refreshing to see him wave play on everytime a player pretended to get shot by a sniper.
