Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [23rd - 29th October 2015]

disappointing game

De Bruyne and Sterling.........did they even play?

Lingard had a difficult chance, and Smalling right at the end , Rooney was invisible attacking wise but could well have saved a point from that City free kick at the back post

9 games without a defeat, 6th on the table, Best defensive record in the Premiership, 5th most goals scored in the premier league, Youngest starting 11 in the premier league, 6 points better off than at this point last season, a goal difference that is +8 better than this time last season

someone posted the above on fb. seems accurate. impressive.

I'm convinced now that the reason we don't get the tech to help refs is because the "bigger" clubs know how much it would take decisions away from them that they'd usually get.

Toothless up front, Origi again almost always out of position or breaking up attacks. Very unimpressed with him as a striker. Poor service is one thing of course but even when service is poor you can see good strikers are getting into the right positions. Origi just doesnt seem to have a strikers mindset

Origi always been over rated for me, never got why we signed him
