Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [23rd - 29th October 2015]

It was, he charged into him when there was no need, complete moronic liability.

Yea, watching the replay it was more blatant than it looked live but it still wasn't clear cut. Defenders get away with that all the time.

It most certainly wasn't a red though. Foul or not, there was no goalscoring opportunity there to be denied.

Fletcher went down like he'd had his legs cut off but you'd expect any striker in the same position to do so. Foul and penalty yes, not really sure it was worthy of a sending off though.

Surprised to see Valencia starting over Darmian.

For me if it was a Sunderland player fouling Mitrovic I would be livid if it wasn't a red, but it's done now and that's us back in the **** and another Derby loss thanks to the retard. Should fine him a month wage and never let him play again.

On the plus side at least we will have 3 games without the ****.

lol 2-0 :D

Sunderland are gash, so many bad players.

They'd be mid table at best in the Championship imo.

3 up as well, madness.

That's a good finish to be fair.

On the balance of play, Newcastle have been by far the best team.

Sunderland for the drop, no doubt about it.

Much better team even with 10 men, they are shockingly bad but we ultimately deserved to lose.

Colocini should never, ever play for the club again but no doubt they'll rush him back and he will lose us a few more games.

I honestly have not hated a player as much as Colocini before in my life, was over the hill 2 years ago but still we persist. Must have some dirt on Cashley to keep getting picked.

****ing disgrace.

We were the better team even after the second goal went in. Just couldn't score.

You can't argue that it wasn't a pen, Colo should have known better.

However, I don't think play should have continued for the arm left hanging at the other end of the pitch just before.

We're our own worst enemy and basically gifted that to Sunderland.

Hard game to predict, no Aguero and Silva makes things a more level playing field.

Martial will need to have a great game, because Rooney probably won't.
