Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [24th - 26th August 2012]

Better manager. I'm sure if you paid him enough Jose would forget about his dream of managing the biggest club in Manchester and manage your lot instead :p

I would love to see Jose at City, it would become even easier for him than at Chelsea. If he wanted he could dominate for 10 years. I think he would do better at City than United. He will fall out with the people at the top at United inside of 12 months.

So do you actually have any proof, any quotes from the club? or is just made up stuff again?

My understand of what happened was,
Tevez asked to warm up...he goes and does so and sits back down.

Dzeko is playing terribly so Mancini goes and tells Tevez to warm up probably forgetting or just wanting Tevez to do it again.

Tevez just sits there and does nothing.

Mancini is at this point sees red mist and reacts angrily whilst Tevez is sat there after he has already asked him to go warm up.

I don't care if you are a footballer or a dustbin man. If you do something your told and then you are told to do it again you go and do it.

Why should Tevez not listen to what he is told.

After the game clearly still fuming from the performance, what has happened with Tevez and with media pressure and so he said;
"It may not be my decision but if I'm deciding then, yes, he goes. For me, if a player earns a lot of money playing for Manchester City in the Champions League and he behaves like this – he cannot play again. Never. He has wanted to leave for the last two years. For two years I have helped him, and now he has refused to play. Never again."

Everyone says things in the heat of the moment.

I am sure in the past after a game SAF, Mourinho, Guardiola has gone mad at a certain player but because it didn't happen in public we don't know about it.

Probably not to the extent Mancini did. He meant it, he just backtracked as he was in the wrong or realised he couldn't afford to lose Tevez.
