At least Allardyce would get Everton defending better. To concede four goals at Saints, who had only scored ten prior to the game, is pretty embarrassing.

I was quite surprised it wasn't even mentioned on Match of the Day.

Was amazed that the Swansea player got away with shoving the ref too although he did look to make plenty of dodgy calls.

Lineker's said that they didn't see the incident when watching the 3pm games - they didn't choose not to show it, they just didn't know it happened. Not sure I believe that - admittedly the commentators on the game brushed over the incident but you couldn't not see it when they showed 3 or 4 replays of the goal.
